sustainable farms located throughout Pennsylvania to locally conscious and sustainably minded restaurants in the Pittsburgh area, and now serving restaurants in the southern portion of Pennsylvania.
Until the creation of The Pennsylvania Farm CSA, we have had the desire to work directly with general consumers, but couldn't see an effective solution to cover the cost of transportation for these wonderful and delicious artisan foods we were finding on the beautiful farms of Pennsylvania. Simply put, household consumers just don't have a need for the amount of volume needed to cover the cost of handcrafted farmstead cheeses and the cost to deliver them safely and securely. The Pennsylvania Farm CSA has helped us to realize the desire to bring these amazing foods directly to you.
We hope you will enjoy these beautifully crafted cheeses and expertly cultivated mushrooms as much as we, and the chefs and patrons do of the fine restaurants in and around Pittsburgh, and throughout the southern portion of Pennsylvania that we serve.
